Rubie has recently completed a honours degree at Murdoch University on quantitatively exploring the BOFFFFs hypothesis for the endemic West Australian Dhufish (Glaucosoma hebraicum). Rubie now works as a fisheries research scientist within the stock assessment team of the Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development (DPIRD) in Western Australia, with key interests in the areas of fish reproductive biology and stock assessment modelling.
