Ryan Nevatte is a marine biologist with a keen interest in sharks and genetics. He completed his PhD in 2021, which involved using molecular techniques to answer questions about different aspects of the biology of sawsharks. These included distributions, population structure, and reproductive biology. Ryan is currently a postdoctoral researcher at Macquarie University studying the genetic connectivity and diversity of small giant clams in the South Pacific.
