- This delegate is presenting an abstract at this event.

I am a research scientist at NSW Fisheries, based at the Port Stephens Fisheries Institute. My research focuses on marine fisheries enhancement programs run by the department. I use a variety of approaches including hydroacoustics, telemetry, genetics, independent fisheries surveys, and citizen science programs to evaluate both artificial reefs and marine fish stocking. Outcomes from my research are used to refine existing approaches to fisheries enhancement and sustainably optimise opportunities for anglers. I continue to maintain a broad interest in estuarine ecology which has been an area of active research since my PhD.
