Dr. Shui-Kai Chang is a Professor at the Graduate Institute of Marine Affairs of the National Sun Yat-sen University in Taiwan. He also serves as the Director of the NSYSU Sustainable Ocean Governance Center. His key research interests include fishery statistics, ecology, and management, with a focus on tuna fisheries and small-scale coastal fisheries[,] and spans both natural and social science approaches. With his background in both academia and government, he is passionate [about] bridging the gap between scientific research and policy implementation in marine resource management and conservation.
